1. A new algorithm for determining NEDT of microwave radiometers (John Xun Yang – U. of Maryland)

This presentation discusses the development of a new algorithm for determining NEDT for microwave radiometers, and contrasted the method versus NEDT estimation methods from the major numerical weather prediction centers.

2. Improving ATMS Remapping Accuracy Using Adaptive Window Method (Jun Zhou – U. of Maryland)

This is a presentation of an implementation of Backus-Gilbert Inversion (BGI) microwave data remapping algorithm using an adaptive instead of fixed remapping window.

3. Subgroup Action Item Review (Facilitated by Mark Liu and Qifeng LU)

GSICS Annual Meeting 2021 Plenary Session Action Item Status were discussed. Updates are included in the meeting minutes.

4. Subgroup Planning (Facilitated by Mark Liu and Qifeng LU)

Planning for future regular subgroup meetings, and the workshop were discussed. Updates are included in the meeting minutes.
