Example Timeline Plan for Development of GSICS Products

This page provides an example of a strategic timeline plan for the development and release of GSICS products.

Ideally this would be integrated with a centralised Action Tracker tool, which could also be used to track the review cycle through the GSICS Procedure for Product Acceptance.

This should be useful for GSICS developers and their managers in setting priorities as well as managing users' expectations. But only if regularly updated.

Update: At the webmeeting of 2010-08-10 it was agreed that this should be based on the GSICS Operations Plan, together with the tool for monitoring the progress of candidate products through the GSICS Procedure for Product Acceptance. This is currently under review.
