Outcome

Action: Ben Scarino, Tom Stone and Bart Viticchie to scope the potential of integrating the GSICS Lunar Observation Database in the NASA SBAF tool - by 2016 GRWG/GDWG meeting.

Action: Dave Doelling and Ben Scarino to draft requirements for SBAFs and circulate to GSICS developers mailing list for review - by end December 2015.

Action: Masaya Takahashi, Arata Okuyama, Sebastien Wagner, Viju John and Tim Hewison to review SBAF requirements and work with Dave Doelling and Ben Scarino to start drafting a best practice process to define SBAF - by 2016 GRWG/GDWG meeting.

Recommendation: Ben Scarino to consider applying JMA's "constrained optimization" gap-filling method to extrapolate IASI radiances to cover the shorter wave part of SWIR channels.

Recommendation: Ben Scarino to investigate hypbrid approach of linear regression of results of piece-wise comparisons to provide unweighted coverage over full dynamic range.
