Joint GSICS GRWG-UVSG and CEOS WGCV-ACSG meeting

College Park, USA - 8-9 October 2015

This is a preliminary announcement that we are planning to hold a joint GSICS Research Working Group UV Sub-Group (GRWG-UVSG) and CEOS Working Group on Calibration and Validation Atmospheric Composition Sub-Group (CEOS WGCV-ACSG) meeting in the vicinity of NOAA-NESDIS, College Park, Greenbelt, on the 8th and 9th October 2015.

The intention is to devote the 8th October to GSICS-UV subgroup activities and the morning of the 9th to a discussion on possible areas of common interest where cooperation between the GSICS GRWG-UVSG and the CEOS WGCV-ACSG could be useful.

We will have another special issue of the GSICS Quarterly on UV/Vis satellite instruments and will also use the October meeting to solicit articles.

In addition we plan to host a WebEx meeting to discuss possible contributions at the latest by early August.
