GSICS Annual Meeting 17-21 March 2025 in Changchun, Jilin Province, China

Agenda is here. The "Agenda in prep" tab gives an high level over view of current state of plan and the "Meeting Agenda 2025" gives a detail presentation wise agenda as is being planned by Session Chairs.

Preparatory Meeting Minutes

Chang Liu (liuc (AT) cma.gov.cn) gave a presentation on the logistics.
  • The meeting would be hybrid
  • An excursion is planned on 21 March 2025
  • Pickup and drop from Hotel to Venu would be provided

Bojan and Simon Elliott requested to move the GDWG breakout session from Wed.19 March morning to Thu. 20 March morning (to allow them to attend)
this needs a swap with VISNIR (part 2 session) or with the MW session.

Larry provided suggestions for topics on each session.
  • A.GRWG.20250109.1: Mounir to work with Manik to collect content for the SOS report
  • AGRWG.20250109.2: Mounir to work with GRWG to finalize the meeting agenda
  • A.GRWG.20250109.3: Tom Stone to prepare discussion on GSICS interaction with CALCON community.
  • A.GRWG.20250109.4: Mounir to contact Nigel Fox and Xiaoxiong(Jack) Xiong to present summary on pre-launch at the Annual Meeting
  • A.GRWG.20250109.5: Mounir to work with GRWG members to organize a followup preparatory meeting.
  • A.GRWG.20250109.6: GDWG and VISNIR to workout a session swap
